British Airways’ CEO has called for vaccinated people to be allowed unrestricted options for international travel. BA chief Sean Doyle thinks vaccinated travellers should face no obstacles to travel.
Additionally, ‘those who have not been vaccinated should be able to travel with a negative test result,’ he says.
BA wants the government to support digital health apps which can be used to verify a vaccination or negative Covid-19 test results.
Doyle expects the UK to bring in a tiered post-lockdown reopening framework with destinations designated depending on risk. That will determine what the airline’s summer flight schedules looks like.
